Jimmy Robinson (USA, Blues e Progressive Fingerstyle)
Virtuoso della chitarra nato e cresciuto a New Orleans (USA), ispirato dalla magia della musica che affonda le sue radici nel Blues del Mississippi.
È uno dei quattro musicisti del “New Orleans Guitar Masters”.
Ha studiato chitarra classica e composizione presso Loyola University di New Orleans e all’Eastman School Of Music in New York. La pluriennale esperienza nel mondo della musica lo ha portato a fondere vari stili e generi, combinando il suo background classico con la chitarra elettrica per giungere al suo personale e funambolico stile sulla chitarra acustica. Ad arricchire il suo originale stile è il timbro particolare della sua voce, pregna delle radici della sua terra, la Luisiana.
Lui non imita la musica del Mississippi, lui è la musica di quella terra ricca di suoni e arte. Ha fatto da open act per:

Adrian Raso (Canada, Gypsy Jazz, Blues)
È un chitarrista/compositore canadese considerato un virtuoso della chitarra ed un cantautore eccezionale. I suoi spettacoli dal vivo non mancano mai di stupire.
Ha registrato dieci album e due EP.
Nel 2020 Adrian si è, inoltre, legato al mondo del cinema ed ha l’iniziato del suo percorso di compositore cinematografico. La sua musica, infatti, è stata scelta come colonna sonora dei film “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm” (2020) e “Hotel Belgrade” (2020).
L’album “Devil's Tale” ricco di energia, concepito da Adrian come una vera fusione di culture e tradizioni musicali orientali e occidentali, offre al mondo un'esperienza straordinaria. Le performance degli ospiti speciali includono John Jorgenson (Elton John) e Rodrigo (Rodrigo y Gabriela). Questo disco è stato pubblicato in tutto il mondo da “Asphalt Tango Records”.
“Devil's Tale” ha debuttato al numero 1 della World Music Charts Europe. È rimasto nella top 10 per tre mesi consecutivi. Devil's Tale è stato insignito del prestigioso German Record Critic's Award e si è classificato come uno dei primi 30 album del 2014 sulla CBC.
Nel 2019 l’Asphalt Tango Records ha pubblicato l’album “The Gypsybilly King” dove hanno suonato anche Lee Rocker (The Stray Cats) e il batterista Michael Bland (Prince & The New Power Generation).
Nel 2017 ha registrato l’album strumentale “Frozen In Time” con le leggende del metal Rudy Sarzo (Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake) e Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath, Dio).
Nel febbraio del 2011 ha pubblicato il commovente singolo rockabilly "Dead Man's Hand" con Lee Rocker (The Stray Cats) al basso e Kevin Figueiredo (Extreme) alla batteria. Nel 2011 ha pubblicato “Nina del Sol”. Questo disco, mixato dal produttore vincitore di un Grammy Award Bob St.John, mette in evidenza molte delle influenze mediterranee di Adrian e presenta le esibizioni da guest star della leggendaria Sheila E. (Prince, Ringo Starr) e il batterista Kevin Figueiredo (Extreme).
C'est La Vie (2008) è l'omaggio di Adrian al Gypsy Swing: 15 composizioni che riflettono il suo amore per Django Reinhardt e la musica tradizionale gitana francese; questo album è stato mixato dal leggendario Nick Blagona.

Gavino Loche (Italia, Contemporary Fingerpicking)
È un virtuoso della chitarra, considerato uno dei maggiori esponenti della chitarra acustica
moderna.
Ha la capacità di muoversi con grande disinvoltura da un genere all’altro.
Chi lo ascolta rimane letteralmente stregato dal suo talento.
Chi assiste ad una performance di Gavino ha la sensazione di ascoltare una intera band che suona contemporaneamente.
La reazione di stupore del pubblico è: "Come fa a farlo?”
Vincitore di numerosi concorsi chitarristici tra cui: “Miglior chitarrista emergente dell’anno” (2010), "Concorso Italiano Chitarre” (2010) e "Arrangiatevi!” (2013).
È autore del metodo didattico "Contemporary Fingerpicking Guitar” edito da Fingepicking.net.
Giornalista e autore della rubrica mensile "Contemporary Fingerpicking Guitar” presso la rivista "Chitarra Acustica”.

Reno Brandoni (Italia, Fingestyle)
Reno Brandoni è un chitarrista e scrittore che ha alle spalle una lunga e importante carriera di collaborazioni con Stefan Grossman, John Renbourn, Duck Baker e Dave Van Rock.
È attivo dagli anni ’80 come musicista, pubblicando gli album Bluesando (1984), Zingarom (2005), Yelda (2006), Anema e Corde con Giorgio Cordini (2008) e Indifeso (2017), i manuali La chitarra di Giovanni Unterberger in tablatura, Chitarristi Italiani la loro musica le loro idee, Open Tuning Basics, Come suonare la chitarra fingerpicking, ed esibendosi nei più importanti teatri italiani.
L’avventura come autore per ragazzi ha inizio nel 2017 con la pubblicazione per Edizioni Curci del libro Il Re del Blues, dedicato all’affascinante e misteriosa vita del bluesman Robert Johnson.
L’anno successivo escono i libri La notte in cui inventarono il rock, incentrato sulla vita del noto chitarrista Jimi Hendrix, e Una classica serata jazz, un dialogo immaginario tra Fryderyk Chopin e Michel Petrucciani per un confronto tra musica classica e jazz.
Nel 2020 pubblica L’ultimo viaggio di Billie, un viaggio appassionato negli abissi più profondi del blues, per raccontare la storia di una delle più grandi cantanti jazz di tutti i tempi: Billie Holiday. Ha fondato il sito web Fingerpicking, incentrato sul mondo dei chitarristi, e la rivista musicale Chitarra Acustica” per la quale scrive mensilmente.
Per Curci firma anche Filastrocche per sentirsi grandi (filastrocche di Maria Elena Rosati musicate da Reno Brandoni e Stefano Nosei): un romanzo di formazione che comprende 9 filastrocche in musica, ascoltabili durante la lettura attraverso i QR code nascosti fra le pagine. Il testo contiene anche due brani, Il sole nasce per tutti e Filastrocca alla rovescia che vedono la partecipazione del trombettista Paolo Fresu. Nel 2021 esce, sempre per Curci Come una stella, libro ispirato alla vita di Lady Gaga, in cui tratta il tema del bullismo. Per le ruzzole” pubblica i due volumi per ragazzi Il polpo Pippo e Il ladro di Colli.
Nel 2022 pubblica Paolino, libro illustrato dedicato Paolo Fresu e Schiavi per la musica edito da fingerpicking.net.
Reno porta il suo lavoro in giro per spettacoli e laboratori rivolti a un pubblico di ogni età .

Diego Bastianelli (Italia, Fingestyle)
Diego Bastianelli si laurea in cinema presso il Dams di Bologna.
Dopo alcuni anni di chitarra classica, inizia ad appassionarsi alla chitarra acustica sotto la guida di Gavino Loche.
Si diploma alla Scuolacustica di Bologna per poi proseguire gli studi al Centro Studi Fingerstyle di Arezzo.

Jimmy Robinson has been recording and touring for over 40 years. He has received critical and audience praise for his unique virtuoso approach to the guitar, and his rich compositional skill.

Jimmy first made a name for himself playing electric guitar and leading the psychedelic rock/blues band, Ejaculation (yes, you read correctly, it was 1968, after all...) at the Free Concert weekly series on New Orleans Riverfront.. He went on to front The Progrock band, Laugh In The Dark, in the 70’s, and in 1975 founded the celebrated instrumental rock fusion band, Woodenhead . Woodenhead performs today, and is celebrating their 40th anniversary with a special performance at The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in May, 2015, as well as releasing a recording of new material, a live concert from New Orleans’ famed Tipitina’s and a reissue of their entire, remastered catalog.
He also founded the New Orleans Guitar Collective Twangorama , with guitarists Phil deGruy and Cranston Clements, and later The New Orleans Guitar Masters.
Jimmy studied classical guitar and composition at Loyola University in New Orleans and The Eastman School Of Music in New York. He combined these elements with his electric experience to forge the solo acoustic style that he now tours with. His has three solo albums to his credit, Vibrating Strings, Guitarworks and Three.

Adrian Raso
Adrian Raso is a respected guitarist/composer from Guelph, Ontario, Canada and has been the proud recipient of several Ontario Arts Council Grants in Popular Music. Adrian has recorded two instrumental EPs and ten full-length instrumental albums.
2020 has seen Adrian transition into the world of film and begin his journey as a screen composer. His music has been featured in Sacha Baron Cohen’s Borat Subsequent Moviefilm (2020) and Konstantin Statskiy’s Hotel Belgrade (2020).
In 2019 Asphalt Tango Records released Adrian’s latest release, The Gypsybilly King. This album featured spirited contributions from Lee Rocker and drummer Michael Bland (Prince & The New Power Generation).
The driving instrumental hard rock album Frozen In Time was recorded in 2017. This gave Adrian a chance to record with metal legends Rudy Sarzo (Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake) and Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath, Dio).
Adrian was extremely busy in 2012, releasing the rockabilly-inspired LP Liquor Talkin’ with his electric band, The Big Deal. In addition, Adrian received an Ontario Arts Council Grant in Popular Music to support his collaboration with world-renowned Gypsy brass ensemble, Fanfare Ciocarlia to produce Devil’s Tale. This high-energy recording, conceived of by Adrian as a true melding of Eastern and Western cultures and musical traditions, offers the world an extraordinary experience. Special guest performances include John Jorgenson (Elton John) and Rodrigo(Rodrigo y Gabriela). This record has been released worldwide on Asphalt Tango Records.
Devil’s Tale debuted at #1 on the World Music Charts Europe. It remained in the top 10 for three consecutive months. Devil’s Tale was awarded the prestigious German Record Critic’s Award and finished as one of the Top 30 albums of 2014 on the CBC.
In February of 2011 he released the spine-tingling rockabilly single “Dead Man’s Hand” featuring Lee Rocker (The Stray Cats) on bass and Kevin Figueiredo (Extreme) on drums. This single was mixed by Bob St. John and artwork was created by the incomparable Vince Ray.
Adrian released Nina del Sol in 2011. This record, mixed by multi-platinum and Grammy award-winning producer Bob St. John, highlights many of Adrian's Mediterranean influences, and features guest star performances from the legendary Sheila E. (Prince, Ringo Starr) and drummer Kevin Figueiredo (Extreme).
C’est La Vie (2008) is Adrian’s tribute to Gypsy Swing. These 15 new compositions reflect his love of Django Reinhardt and traditional French Gypsy music; this album was mixed by Nick Blagona (Gypsy Jazz legend Stephane Grapelli).
In 2006, Adrian released his second full-length all-acoustic album called Tales of a Travelling Bohemian. This fiery, passionate guitar-driven CD accentuates his ease of moving from Middle-Eastern to Mediterranean to Gypsy styles of music.
Black Mamba (2005) showcased Adrian’s stunning versatility and musicianship over a variety of styles, ranging from Gypsy to Mediterranean flavours. Adrian’s work is a fine example of the balance between commercially accepted music that is also readily embraced by the technically-minded musician.
Favourable reviews and critical acclaim have led to artist endorsements from Gretsch guitars, Godin guitars, Dr. Z Amplification, The Deering Banjo Company, Michael Collins guitars, K&K Sound pick-ups, Keeley Electronics, Wampler Pedals, Pigtronix, Radial Engineering, Pedaltrain, and Biltmore Hats. Gavino Loche
Gavino Loche is a virtuoso of the guitar. He is capable of moving from one genre to the next with the greatest of ease.
In 2010 he was awarded for the best up-and-coming Italian guitar player at the A.D.G.P.A (Atkins-Dadi Guitar Player
Italian Association) annual convention.
Gavino was the winner of the “Concorso Italiano Chitarre 2010” as well as in 2013 winning the guitar contest at “Arrangiatevi.”
Gavino’s solo performances sound like two really good guitarists playing together. He combines tapping, percussive sounds and
incredible fingerstyle arrangements.
The initial astonished audience reaction is, “How does he do that?”.
He is also author of the book “Contemporary Fingerpicking Guitar” and a Journalist for the first italian acoustic guitar magazine “Chitarra Acustica” (Acoustic Guitar).
Reno Brandoni

The adventure as a children's author began in 2017 with the publication by Edizioni Curci of the book The King of the Blues, dedicated to the fascinating and mysterious life of the bluesman Robert Johnson. The following year, the books The night they invented rock, centered on the life of the well-known guitarist Jimi Hendrix, and A classic jazz evening, an imaginary dialogue between Fryderyk Chopin and Michel Petrucciani for a comparison between classical music and jazz, were published.
In 2020 he published Billie's last journey, a passionate journey into the deepest abyss of the blues, to tell the story of one of the greatest jazz singers of all time: Billie Holiday.
He founded the Fingerpicking website, focused on the world of guitarists, and the music magazine “Chitarra Acustica” for which he writes monthly. For Curci he also signs Filastrocche to feel grown up (nursery rhymes by Maria Elena Rosati set to music by Reno Brandoni and Stefano Nosei): a bildungsroman that includes 9 nursery rhymes set to music, which can be listened to while reading through the QR codes hidden between the pages. The text also contains two songs, The sun is born for everyone and Filastrocca upside down which see the participation of the trumpeter Paolo Fresu. In 2021, again for Curci Come una stella, a book inspired by the life of Lady Gaga, in which she deals with the theme of bullying. For “le ruzzole” he published the two volumes for children Il polpo Pippo and Il ladro di Colli. In 2022 he published Paolino, an illustrated book dedicated to Paolo Fresu and Schiavi per la musica published by fingerpicking.net.
Reno takes his work around for performances and workshops aimed at audiences of all ages.
